Inbound  transfer  form

Please complete the following form if you have chosen Carter Firearms to transfer your recent firearm purchase. This helps to ensure your purchase arrives correctly and safely. Complete a form for EACH SHIPMENT (not firearm). If your purchase includes more than 2 firearms, please contact us directly.
A few things to know:

• We transfer long guns, hand guns, and receivers.
• We accept transfers from other FFLs as well as individuals. We require a copy of their license/driver's license for our records and they require ours. We will automatically send ours to the email address you provide. They can include theirs with your shipment.. 
• We accept shipments via USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
• The purchaser of the firearm must also be the transferee. You CANNOT purchase for someone else. This violates federal law.
• Unless prior arrangements have been made, firearms will be held for up to 30 days after which they become shop property.
• You will be responsible for additional fees and return shipping charges if your background check results in a denial.
